John Harvey was born in New Brunswick and holds degrees in English Literature, Psychology and Theology from the University of New Brunswick and the University of Toronto. He is an ordained Anglican priest and licensed psychologist, with an interest in cycling, sailing, secular and sacred music and local maritime history.
